“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

- Albert Einstein

While high school art, an Associate of Arts degree, one-on-one tutoring, classes led by other artists, critiques, and learning the rules of composition, value, and color all have provided a solid artistic base, the process of allowing art to happen on the canvas takes longer to learn. As an adult, letting one's inner child play on the canvas has been one of the most magical aspects of my art.

I strive to render a moment in time, instill a feeling of connectivity to the natural world. I see art everywhere even in the most unexpected places. Every painting is an experiment, and oil is very forgiving. While I enjoy all subject matter, I am captivated by transparent and reflective objects.
