Cathy is a fine artist who lives in Warrenton, Virginia and works weekends at Gay Street Gallery. For over 20 years she worked in the fast-paced corporate world in the DC metro area, yearning for the time she could spend her days painting in her studio and being involved in the arts.
She has been fortunate to show her work in several exhibitions and galleries in the northwestern areas of Virginia.
Within the canvas space, she strives to render a moment in time and instill the feeling she had while creating. She enjoys all types of subject matter but is challenged most by transparent and reflective objects.
In her spare time, she enjoys feeding and studying her little “murder” of crows. She also enjoys foraging, growing and learning about medicinal herbs and plants.
