John Valenti is a photographer with over 40 years of experience capturing unique perspectives on everyday life. A native of central New York, John has made Northern Virginia his home since 1986. His photographic art is a broad mix of nature, urban landscape, movement, expression, and scenic imagery from around the world. John sees every day as a new opportunity to capture extraordinary images from simple experiences.
Much of his early work was strictly film based. Currently, digital cameras and processing have allowed new paths of creativity for John’s work to evolve.
Through the years, if you had a family member participate with John’s daughters’ sports teams, you likely possess some of his stunning action shots captured at lacrosse, basketball, and softball competitions.
John has had multiple pieces on exhibit at Falls Church Arts Gallery and Arts Herndon Gallery in Virginia. His work is included in the permanent art collection of the American Society of Civil Engineers headquartered in Reston, VA. John is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
